Dr. Sanket Patil is a highly accomplished Consultant Nephrologist and Kidney Transplant Physician with more than 12 years of rigorous clinical experience. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from Bombay Hospital & Medical Research Centre. He further pursued his DM in Nephrology from PGIMER–Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi, where he secured AIR-1 in the AIIMS DM SS Nephrology Entrance and AIR-7 in NEET SS Nephrology, demonstrating exceptional academic merit.
Dr. Patil is currently practicing at Bombay Hospital, Mumbai, as a Consultant Nephrologist and Kidney Transplant Physician. In this role, he provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with kidney disorders including chronic kidney disease, dialysis management, acute kidney injuries, and kidney transplant evaluation and follow-up. His patient-centered approach and strong clinical judgment have earned him deep trust among patients and peers.
Previously, Dr. Patil served as the Founder and Head of the Department of Nephrology at Fortis Hospital, Greater Noida, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and developing the hospital’s nephrology and dialysis services. Under his leadership, the center grew into a high-volume dialysis unit performing 40–45 dialysis sessions per day, successfully completing 18,000+ dialysis sessions and managing a wide range of complex renal cases.
With extensive expertise in nephrology, Dr. Patil is widely recognized for his diagnostic precision, advanced clinical skills, and compassionate care.
